What to write about
- A result looks wrong — the most useful kind of report. Include the
ticker, start and end date, seed, fee and the strategy you chose so we
can reproduce exactly what you saw. A screenshot, or the CSV/image export from the
thirty-year comparison, helps too.
- Ticker requests — we will consider any US-listed ETF or ETN. Very
short listing histories or thin trading may be declined, because a backtest on them is
more misleading than useful.
- Strategy and feature ideas — describe the rule you would like to
test as concretely as you can.
- Corrections to the guides — if a number or an explanation is wrong,
tell us; we fix it and update the revision date.
What we cannot answer
We cannot answer the following. This site is not a registered investment adviser and
should not act like one.
- What to buy now, or when to sell
- Where a particular ticker or strategy is headed
- How to build a portfolio around your own capital and goals
